CB EARL LITTLE JR.

Can we go ahead and refer to Florida State as "The Alabama Crimson Tide Pipeline"? After head football coach Mike Norvell said "no" to Alabama's job opportunity after legendary coach Nick Saban retired, he started to get personal with the program.

He took running back Roydell Williams, wide receiver Malik Benson, offensive lineman TJ Ferguson, linebacker Shawn Murphy, and cornerback Earl Little Jr. via the transfer portal. Most of these players will be projected starters for the Seminoles in 2024.

One player that I am extremely excited about is redshirt sophomore cornerback Earl Little Jr. Much like Malik Benson and Marvin Jones Jr., he did not have the statistics to back up being an elite player at his previous institution.

However, he has the opportunity of a lifetime as veteran slot cornerback Greedy Vance decided to transfer out West to the USC Trojans. Overall, Little Jr. was a four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting cycle that the Seminoles recruited heavily out of high school (high school teammates with Marvin Jones Jr.).

I know that Florida State is stoked to have the opportunity to have Little Jr. being coached at the defensive back position by his former high school head football coach at American Heritage High School (Patrick Surtain Sr.).
