4-star OT target Ziyare Addison unofficially visiting the Noles this weekend
Florida State currently has one offensive lineman committed to their 2025 recruiting class in five-star interior offensive lineman Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida.
However, the coaching staff understands that they have to protect their future signal caller with four-star Tramell Jones Jr. Florida State will probably want to get at least two or three more offensive linemen in the class with current players such as Maurice Smith, Darius Washington, Robert Scott Jr., Jeremiah Byers, and Keiondre Jones graduating after this season.
Florida State offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has done a tremendous job in being able to develop relationships with a variety of prospects. One prospect that he has continued to recruit in this 2025 cycle is four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison from Sumner High School in Riverview, Florida.
Addison was offered by the Seminoles when he was only 240 pounds and Florida State was his first-ever offer. The mutual connection between the talented prospect and the university is present.
The Riverview, Florida native has visited Florida State a couple of times in the calendar year. He announced on social media that he will unofficially visiting Tallahassee tomorrow (Saturday, March 23rd). The Seminoles are expected to host a variety of highly-touted prospects.
While the talented offensive lineman does not have a crystal ball prediction in favor of any school, Addison has made it clear that the Seminoles are heavily in the mix for his recruitment. He recently dropped a top schools list, which obviously included Florida State.
Addison is a true left tackle prospect and could certainly be beneficial for the program to have. However, the Seminoles have stiff competition for his services as he scheduled official visits with Clemson (May 31) and Oregon (June 7). Luckily for the coaching staff, Florida State will be hosting him on the weekend of June 21.
Hopefully, this means that the program can generate some recruiting momentum as it looks to head into the summer with talented prospects committed to the fold.
