4-star LB Tavion Wallace receives expert prediction in favor of the Noles
Florida State football already has one linebacker committed to its 2025 recruiting class in four-star Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida.
Fans were honestly surprised when the program was able to land the services of Pritchard. While they still have to sign him, it is a great sign that the talented linebacker is at least committed to the fold for the time being.
Linebackers coach Randy Shannon has always been a great developer with the players that he has had on the roster. Shannon has been around the coaching circles for years. However, his recruiting efforts have been scrutinized by the fan base.
During the 2024 recruiting cycle, he landed two linebacker prospects in three-stars Jayden Parrish and Timir Hickman-Collins. Shannon did get a solid acquisition in four-star Blake Nichelson with the 2023 class. However, Nichelson sided with coming to Florida State due to his relationship with GM Darrick Yray.
There are some big shoes to fill during the 2024 season as both veteran Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune have moved on to the NFL. As a result, the program needs to find productive pieces within the transfer portal and recruiting ranks.
On Tuesday afternoon, On3's Stee Wiltfond put in an expert prediction in favor of Florida State for Class of 2025 four-star target Tavion Wallace from Wayne County High School in Jesup, Georgia. Wallace will be making his decision on July 15th.
He is thought to be deciding between the likes of Florida State, Georgia, and Florida. This is a prospect that the Seminoles desperately need to grab. The Georgia native was scheduled to officially visit Tallahassee on the massive June 21st weekend. It would be great to see Wallace putting his recruiting hat on for the Seminoles if he were to commit to the program in the future.
