Florida State is sit as the 50th-best recruiting class in the 2025 cycle according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. The coaching staff wants to generate momentum as many highly-touted prospects will be making their way to Tallahasssee.

The program already has five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

The Seminoles have not secured a commitment since Hilson flipped his pledge from Alabama to Florida State in January. Fans have expected that the Seminoles would be building a legendary recruiting class by now accomplishing an undefeated regular season and a conference championship in the 2023 season.

However, it is important to note that we are still six months away from the Early Signing Period in December. It seems like fans worry about this every offseason before Florida State starts to solidify its recruiting class in the summer.

The Seminoles lead for several highly-touted prospects in the 2025 cycle. One recruit to monitor is four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace from Wayne County High School in Jesup, Georgia.

Wallace told On3 at a recent recruiting event that the Seminoles are the number one school in his recruitment. It is crazy to think about the fact that linebackers coach Randy Shannon has been impressive this cycle with many talented prospects at the position on the target.

Plus, they already have four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. There has been an update on Wallace's recruitment as the talented linebacker has changed his decision date from June 15th to July 2nd at 6:30 PM EST.

He will be choosing between the likes of Florida State, Georgia, Florida, and Arkansas. It looks good for the Seminoles as he will be officially visiting the Seminoles during the weekend of June 21st. They have already received predictions in favor of Florida State.

Can Randy Shannon and the rest of the coaching staff seal the deal in Wallace's recruitment?
