Florida State football had their first recruiting weekend of June where they had several highly-touted prospects that arrived on campus in Tallahassee.

The Seminoles only had four-star cornerback target Onis Konanbanny officially visit last weekend. While it was a trip that put Florida State in a great position to land his services, I know that the coaching staff is looking forward to have more prospects experiencing what they have to offer.

Florida State is sitting outside the top 50 in the 247Sports Composite rankings for the 2025 cycle. The Seminoles only have four prospects committed to the fold in five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

The program has not secured a commitment since Hilson flipped his pledge from Alabama to Florida State in January after legendary head football coach Nick Saban retired.

Speaking of Pritchard being a pledge in Florida State's recruiting class, he was the only commitment that officially visited campus this weekend. The talented linebacker surely attempted to put his recruiting hat on for the program so that the Seminoles could build momentum on the trail.

As I mentioned in a previous article, this weekend was an opportunity for the program to gain traction on a couple of highly-touted prospects. Head football coach Mike Norvell has always emphasized finding the right fit for the university.

One prospect that Seminole fans should start to monitor is Class of 2025 four-star Ladarian Clardy from Escambia County High School in Pensacola, Florida. The interesting aspect is that he was formerly crystal balled to Ole Miss who he has an official visit scheduled on June 21st.

However, on Sunday afternoon, both Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong from On3 put in expert predictions in favor of Florida State. The official visit with the Seminoles should have done wonders for the program's positioning.
