FOUR-STAR LB TY JACKSON

Florida State fans had a complete meltdown after the last couple of days at the linebacker position. There have been a large portion of individuals that are getting its pitchforks ready for linebackers coach Randy Shannon's recruiting efforts.

It was not ideal that the Seminoles missed three targets where four-star Zaydrius Rainey-Sale (Washington), four-star Gavin Nix (Miami), and four-star Tavion Wallace (Arkansas) did not commit to Florida State. It wouldn't even be discussed if Wallace pledged to the Seminoles.

However, it became frustrating since the coaching staff put all of their eggs in one basket for Wallace and did not get him. This is Florida State so the expectations are different, especially considering that they have a combined 23-4 record over the past two seasons.

The Seminoles' recruiting board at the position involves many prospects who are committed to other schools. One uncommitted recruit that needs to be monitored is four-star Ty Jackson from Seminole Ridge High School in Loxahatchee, Florida.

Jackson has not utilized his official visit to Florida State yet so there is an opportunity for the coaching staff to get involved during the season. However, they have their work cut out for them as schools such as Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Penn State are involved.
