4-star CB target has received a crystal ball prediction in favor of the Noles
Florida State football is still sitting at four commitments in the 2025 recruiting class with five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.
The Seminoles have not secured a pledge since Hilson flipped his commitment from Alabama to Florida State back in January when legendary head football coach Nick Saban retired.
The fan base wants to see some success on the recruiting trail considering that the program has a combined 23-4 record over the past two seasons. It is also fair to mention that there have now been two recruiting weekends with no commitments.
It should be noted that it is only June and the Early Signing Period in December is still six months away. However, other programs (specifically the two arch-rivals Florida and Miami) have been getting pledges from recruits.
I realize that Florida State operates differently in trying to get the best fit for the university. It seems like the fan base has this conversation every year before the Seminoles start to kick back up their recruiting efforts.
On Tuesday afternoon, Noles247 FSU Insider Brendan Sonnone included a crystal ball prediction with a confidence level of 6 out of 10 for Class of 2025 four-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux from Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia.
Arnoux is set to officially visit the Seminoles on June 18th. This could be a massive visit as Florida State looks to reel in a talented defensive back from the state of Georgia.
The Seminoles have other defensive back prospects on their recruiting board that are trending in a nice position such as four-star cornerback Gregory Thomas and three-star safety Max Redmon. This should not impact either one of those guys' standings when it comes to selecting Florida State when/if the time is right for them.
