SHAMAR ARNOUX

Florida State has always been successful at recruiting defensive back prospects with so many greats at the position coming through the university. However, it seems like the Seminoles do not want to acquire as many prospects in the secondary this cycle.

However, Florida State is recruiting the likes of four-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux from Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia. This is a prospect offered early on in his recruitment process. He also participated in the Seminoles' Elite Camp in early June.

Arnoux came down to Tallahassee for his official visit this past weekend. Cornerback does not seem like a position that they want to load up on this cycle. However, the four-star defensive back prospect is a talented recruit who is getting looked at by schools such as Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, and USC.

It remains to be seen if the Seminoles give the green light on the recruitment with him making his final decision on June 26th. I am interested to see how the coaching staff handles the situation.
