3 younger players on the Seminoles' roster that could make a difference in 2024

I certainly realize that defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. has some talent in the secondary. Players such as Azareye'h Thomas, Fentrell Cypress III, and Earl Little Jr. at the starting cornerback spots will be dangerous to see.

However, defensive coordinator Adam Fuller utilizes a 4-2-5 scheme which allows defensive backs to be interchangeable to keep them fresh. The coaching staff always emphasizes the fact of playing younger contributors if they make a difference in helping the football team win.

One player that I am very bullish on is former four-star prospect Charles Lester III. This could be a Hykeem Williams situation where Lester III could take a while to get adjusted. However, we have always seen the Venice High School standout be featured on the "Mission Takeaway" graphics from practice.

This could be a great year for Lester III as he looks to continue the tradition of great defensive backs in the Seminoles' football program.
