3 true freshmen that could have meaningful snaps during the 2024 season for the Noles

Florida State is having to replace the likes of veterans at the cornerback position such as Jarrian Jones and Renardo Green. Those are some huge losses in their secondary. However, I imagine that defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. has a plan in place.

Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller utilizes quite a bit of defensive backs in their 4-2-5 defensive scheme. This opens the opportunity for several contributors on the roster for Florida State. It is expected that returning contributors such as Azareye'h Thomas and Fentrell Cypress III on the outside.

The Seminoles were able to add several talented recruits in their 2024 class such as Charles Lester III, Jamari Howard (currently injured), Cai Bates, and Ricky Knight III. While much of the discussion centered around losing five-star KJ Bolden to Georgia, there are still options that can build a firm foundation.

One piece that I am keeping my eyes on is Charles Lester III. While we have not heard much from him, other than the one "Mission Takeaway", Lester III could be a versatile piece on special teams as well as a rotational piece in the secondary.

Lester III's talent might be too good to ignore for the coaching staff in the 2024 season.
