Three true freshmen that could have meaningful snaps during the 2024 season for the Florida State Seminoles.

TE LANDEN THOMAS

Unfortunately, Florida State did not beat the Georgia Bulldogs in the Orange Bowl. As we know, it was not even close. However, one "victory" that the Seminoles did have against the Bulldogs was acquiring tight end prospect Landen Thomas who he originally committed to Florida State then de-committed and pledged to Georgia then flipped back to the Seminoles.

Recruiting is so unpredictable that it involves teenagers making one of the most important decisions of their lifetimes. However, I bet the coaching staff is super excited about acquiring Thomas. Florida State will be tasked with having to replace ultra-talented Jaheim Bell, who declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Bell was the third-leading receiver for the Seminoles in 2023. It is a steep challenge for Florida State to face. As we know, head football coach Mike Norvell loves the tight end position since they are so versatile in what they bring to the table with how they line up.

While I know that veteran Kyle Morlock will likely be the starter at tight end, who will be paired alongside him? I believe that Thomas could emerge as that option. At the very least, I expect the true freshmen to play into some opportunities.
