3 true freshman players that should play on the Seminoles' offense
WR ELIJAH MOORE
I knew that it could've been a nightmare with Florida State having to replace the likes of big-bodied wide receivers Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson. The Seminoles did acquire pieces such as Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown this offseason.
I believe that both Benson and Brown are very talented. However, they have not produced at a high level at their previous stops. It also doesn't help that the quarterback play for Florida State has been rocky.
The top receiver for the offense so far is redshirt senior playmaker Ja'Khi Douglas, who was the hero during the Seminoles' 14-9 win over California. However, it is reasonable to suggest doubt with a 5'9" pass catcher in the offense.
Florida State needs taller, big-bodied options in the offense. I like veteran Kentron Poitier but he has not been consistent or healthy.
Insert true freshman 6'4" Elijah Moore. The former four-star prospect enrolled at Florida State during the summer, so he is still learning the playbook. However, he could be a weapon for DJ Uiagalelei to depend on as the season progresses.
