Florida State football finally won their first game of the 2024 season as they defeated California by a score of 14-9. The Seminoles have suffered losses to Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Memphis. The expectations were high for the squad after they accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship in 2023.

The offensive unit has been abysmal this season, where they finished with 284 total yards versus the Golden Bears on Saturday. The coaching staff thought that quarterback transfer DJ Uiagalelei would be a solid addition this offseason. However, through four games, he has not been ideal.

I realize that not everything revolves around Uiagalelei, as the offense has continued to struggle. However, many individuals focus on the quarterback position since it is such a vital position.

With the team already suffering three losses on the season, fans want the coaching staff to play the younger players on the roster. As a result, I want to feature three true freshmen who should play on the Seminoles' offense.
