WR JALEN BROWN

Florida State is having to replace the likes of wide receivers such as Keon Coleman and Johhny Wilson, who are on NFL rosters with the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles.

The Seminoles picked up Alabama's Malik Benson in the transfer portal who gets discussion about being a number-one wide receiver option. However, LSU's Jalen Brown does not get the same amount of love and attention.

The former Class of 2023 four-star wide receiver prospect Jalen Brown from Gulliver Prep was someone that the Seminoles' coaching staff valued as a recruit. Unfortunately, he elected to commit to the LSU Tigers.

After not recording any statistics with LSU, the redshirt freshman chose to transfer to Florida State. It was seen to be a crowded wide receiver room (which is still kind of is), Brown has an opportunity to make some noise as a slot wide receiver with his elite trait of speed and quickness.

Destyn Hill is out for the 2024 season with an injury. As a result, players in the wide receiver position room have to emerge as slot options. Brown could be that solution for the Seminoles.
