The 2024 NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan starting on Thursday, April 25th. This will be an exciting time for former student-athletes to change their lives forever.

Florida State has been a successful football program over the years when it comes to churning out NFL Draft picks. According to a statistic from Bryant Baucom with Test Casinos, 86% of Florida State's first-round picks since 2014 remain in the league, which is the third-highest percentage among colleges.

Head football coach Mike Norvell will be looking to add talented Florida State football players that will help NFL teams for years to come. Be sure to check out Bryant's statistical deep dive as we inch closer and closer to the 2024 NFL Draft by clicking here.

Florida State has two (possibly even three) players that could be selected in the first round of the draft, which includes defensive end Jared Verse, wide receiver Keon Coleman, and defensive tackle Braden Fiske.

As it pertains to Verse, the ultra-talented pass rusher decided to come back to Tallahassee for one more season. He did not disappoint as he recorded over 40 total tackles and nine sacks. The former Albany transfer certainly helped his draft stock with his performance.

With Coleman, individuals can turn on the film and see how successful he was during the 2023 campaign for the Seminoles. However, the former Michigan State transfer struggled with staying healthy at times throughout the season. Coleman did not have the greatest NFL Scouting Combine performance where he had a 4.61 40-yard dash, which could heavily impact his draft positioning.

Lastly, Fiske seemed to take matters into his own hands where he singlehandedly made himself a ton of money. The interior defender, in the ACC Championship versus Louisville, had nine total tackles (4.5 for loss) and three sacks. He then followed that up with MVP honors at the Senior Bowl. He crushed the NFL Scouting Combine with a 4.78 40-yard dash.
