3 recruits that could jump-start the Seminoles' 2025 recruiting class
FOUR-STAR VERNELL BROWN III
Florida State has still not secured a wide receiver prospect in their 2025 recruiting class. It is important to get the four-star quarterback commit Tramell Jones Jr. options to throw the football to. Unfortunately, the Seminoles seem to be trending away from his high school teammate, five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr.
However, wide receivers coach Ron Dugans is working hard to get the most talented pieces in Tallahassee. Dugans secured two transfers this offseason in Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown and four recruits in Camdon Frier, Lawayne McCoy, BJ Gibson, and Elijah Moore.
However, it is important that Dugans continues to stockpile talent at the wide receiver position. One name that I want to monitor is four-star wide receiver Vernell Brown III from Jones High School in Orlando, Florida.
He was considered a lean to Ohio State at one point, but I could see Brown III staying in the state of Florida where the Seminoles and arch-rival Florida Gators are involved. He will be officially visiting Tallahassee during the massive June 21st weekend. It will be important for the coaching staff to lock down the recruitment of one of the most talented pass catchers in the state.
