GOOD STABLE OF BACKS

Florida State running backs coach David Johnson always emphasizes the importance of making the most of your opportunity. The Seminoles have a quality stable of running backs.

They do not have Trey Benson-like players who are high draft picks but they have reliable contributors who can get it done. The roster consists of Roydell Williams, Lawrence Toafili, Jaylin Lucas, Caziah Holmes, Kameron Davis, and Micahi Danzy.

I can envision all (if not most) of them getting opportunities to be successful this season. This will allow the offense to be interchangeable with his position group. I could see where each back could get 5-10 carries per game.

I assume that Williams could be the starter in the room. However, Caziah Holmes played well in the spring showcase and Lawrence Toafili can never be doubted as a player. Plus, true freshman Kameron Davis is a tank for his age and Micahi Danzy is super fast.

That group will be special in 2024.
