IMPROVED SKILL SET YEAR AFTER YEAR

Honestly, there were many individuals out there that did not believe Travis could be an effective collegiate quarterback. During the Taggart era, he was primarily utilized as a runner. It wasn't even until a road matchup versus Boston College where we saw Travis' dual-threat abilities on display.

Even with the incredible rushing efforts in the game where he recorded three carries for 94 yards and two touchdowns, fans were still questioning whether or not he could even throw a football 15 yards downfield.

Instead of settling with the skill set that he possessed, Travis became his journey to become the best version. With life, we all go through adverse situation where we feel uncomfortable. However, head football coach Mike Norvell and former offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham allowed Travis to blossom into his own person.

Progressively throughout his career, his statistics were getting better and better. You could tell that he wanted to even showcase in his final season with Florida State that he was more than just a "runner". I will admit that the former Louisville transfer was special with the football in his hands (just ask Florida in 2022).

However, his development and ability to make reads in the pocket as the years went on was impressive.
