3 reasons why Doak Campbell Stadium will still be rocking during the 2024 season
COMING OFF A SUCCESSFUL 2023 SEASON
Florida State football is coming off a successful 2023 campaign where they accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship. Unfortunately, the College Football Playoff committee decided that it was not enough as they selected a one-loss Alabama Crimson Tide to go ahead of an undefeated Seminoles team.
The amount of pain that Florida State suffered on that dreaded Sunday in December could be in a documentary. I do not believe that the Seminoles' faithful will ever live that moment down for the rest of their lives.
However, this is a new season where the Seminoles have a new roster with only 56% of returning production in 2024. They are welcoming in several newcomers via the recruiting trail and transfer portal. There will be several individuals that will be trying to make a name for themselves.
Florida State will most certainly be under a microscope in 2024. They will attempt to prove that the right decision should have been to put them in the playoff last year. Head football coach Mike Norvell wants to have sustainable success within his program.
There will be so many fans that will want to make Doak Campbell Stadium one of the loudest environments in college football so that the program has the best chance of making it to the playoff to avenge what happened last year.
