FOUR-STAR WR DAYLAN MCCUTCHEON

Florida State does not have a wide receiver prospects committed to their 2025 recruiting class. Unfortunately, two of its top targets (Jaime Ffrench Jr. and Vernell Brown III) are trending to the Ohio State Buckeyes.

As a result, wide receivers coach Ron Dugans will have to do his best to put his recruiting hat on for the program. One target that should be monitored is four-star pass catcher Daylan McCutcheon from Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas.

During the 2023 season, McCutcheon recorded 92 receptions for 1,423 yards and 19 touchdowns. There are several teams involved in his recruitment such as Ohio State, USC, Texas, and Florida State. Luckily for the Seminoles, they hold the last official visit of the summer before the Dead Period begins.

With being 6'0" and 175 pounds, Florida State can utilize McCutcheon on the outside as well as in the slot.
