3 position groups that are loaded with talent on the Seminoles' roster in 2024

Florida State has to turn the page on veterans Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune, who exceeded their eligibility after the past season. Coming into 2024, redshirt senior DJ Lundy elected to return to Tallahassee in 2024 after previously being committed to Deion Sanders and Colorado.

Linebackers coach Randy Shannon has a track history of being able to develop players at his position. Besides Lundy, several options are vastly inexperienced such as Omar Graham Jr., Blake Nichelson, Justin Cryer, DeMarco Ward, and Shawn Murphy.

Make no mistake about it, the position room is very talented. However, will Florida State be able to find the best option to place alongside DJ Lundy? I truly believe that it could be a committee approach in certain situations.

There were times in the 2023 season when the Seminoles had to switch from their 4-2-5 defensive scheme since they struggled to effectively stop the run. As a result, defensive coordinator Adam Fuller had to utilize three linebackers in his defense.

During the media session after Tuesday's practice, head football coach Mike Norvell stated that the linebacker position room has been more impressive than he anticipated.
