WR DARION WILLIAMSON

Florida State is having to replace two of its dynamic wide receiver options from a season ago with big-bodied playmakers Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman, who declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.

However, the Seminoles added two transfers in Malik Benson (Alabama) and Jalen Brown (LSU) as well as also acquiring four prospects in the 2024 recruiting cycle in four-stars Camdon Frier, BJ Gibson, Lawayne McCoy, and Elijah Moore.

Those group of wide receivers get talked about quite a bit along with up-and-coming contributors such as Hykeem Williams, Destyn Hill (who will be out for the remainder of the spring), and Vandrevius Jacobs.

However, what about one of the veterans who has spent his time in Tallahassee? One playmaker that I am monitoring is redshirt senior wide receiver Darion Williamson who appeared in 12 games last season season where he recorded nine receptions for 127 yards and one touchdown.

Quarterbacks DJ Uiagalelei and/or Brock Glenn have a plethora of options to throw the football to, but if Williamson can stay healthy, he could be a dangerous weapon for the Seminoles this upcoming season.
