It starts and stops with the quarterback position. Florida State will have to navigate through life without the services of veteran signal-caller Jordan Travis. It won't be easy since Travis meant so much to this program on and off the field.

However, as a wise man once said: "All good things have to come to an end eventually". The former Louisville transfer transformed the Seminoles' football program back into national relevance. It was a long road that even most fans never expected to happen.

The coaching staff went to work this offseason with locating a bridge veteran quarterback option to help develop the younger options in Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek. As a result, they ended up landing Oregon State transfer DJ Uiagalelei.

While the former five-star prospect has been through some ups and downs during his respective career at Clemson and Oregon State, he has battled adversity and came out on top. The combination of his strong arm and pocket presence should be enough to keep the Seminoles in the College Football Playoff hunt late in November.
