Florida State football fans are counting down the days before the Seminoles take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets for their season opener in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday, August 24th. We are currently about to be in the dog days of summer as fans get extremely giddy for the season to start.

There are fifteen weeks before the Seminoles face the Yellow Jackets. It might seem like an eternity right now. However, fifteen weeks will fly by before you know it.

Head football coach Mike Norvell is heading into his fifth season in Tallahassee and his squad is fresh off a 13-1 campaign in 2023. Florida State is entering a new era with many newcomers on the roster.

However, this team is ready for the challenge but individuals feel like they will not repeat their success as the Vegas over/under win total is at 9.5. Here are three players to be excited about as the Seminoles approach the season opener.
