CB EARL LITTLE JR.

Florida State redshirt sophomore cornerback Earl Little Jr. was picked up via the transfer portal from the Alabama Crimson Tide. Little Jr. was a former four-star prospect from American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida was a recruit that the coaching staff loved in the recruiting process.

It helps that the talented defender is reunited with his former head high school football coach and current defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. It helps that veteran Greedy Vance Jr. decided to commit to the USC Trojans this offseason.

This could be just what Little Jr. needs to take the nickel cornerback position. The former American Heritage High School standout was wearing the non-contact turquoise jersey in the Seminoles' Spring Showcase.

The Alabama transfer had not played much with the Crimson Tide, so the adjustment of playing meaningful snaps in Tallahassee will be challenging. I cannot wait to see how Little Jr. performs.
