DE SIONE LOLOHEA

The redshirt senior Oregon State defensive end transfer Sione Lolohea was an underrated pickup for the Florida State Seminoles. Much of the excitement this offseason at the defensive end transfers was about Georgia's Marvin Jones Jr.

I get that Jones Jr. was a legacy recruit, but Lolohea was talented in his own way. During the 2023 season with the Beavers, he recorded 47 total tackles (8.5 for loss) and 1.5 sacks. This will be his final season to make a difference since he is a redshirt senior.

Florida State is having to replace the likes of ultra-talented pass rusher Jared Verse, who is heading to the NFL. It won't be easy to replicate the former Albany transfer's statistics as he recorded 18 sacks in two seasons for the Seminoles.

However, this coaching staff continues to deliver when it comes to their transfer acquisitions at the defensive end position. They have hit on prospects such as Jermaine Johnson II, Keir Thomas, and Jared Verse. Could Lolohea and Jones Jr. be next in line?
