S SHYHEIM BROWN

The former three-star prospect has been very productive during his time in Tallahassee. Brown was one of those prospects that wasn't expected to make a meaningful difference. However, he has proven that he can step up when it matters most.

Even though Brown was a starter last season, he played alongside veteran Akeem Dent. As it relates to Dent, he was a vital piece in the secondary where he regularly communicated to the defense where they needed to be.

The Lake City native had a successful 2023 campaign where he recorded 53 total tackles (two for loss) and two sacks. This could be an opportunity where he could elevate his play even further. It could be time for the redshirt junior to emerge as the leader that the defense needs.

Brown has always presented himself as a player who will do anything to help his football team win, especially during his high school years. This defensive unit lost a ton of pieces from its remarkable season last year, this could be just what the doctor ordered for Brown to step into that role.
