OT ROBERT SCOTT JR.

Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell already talked about how offensive lineman Darius Washington has solidified his position at left tackle. This is massive because Washington was considered as the Swiss Army Knife where he was utilized all over the offensive line.

It is great to see Washington getting comfortable at one position, especially when it involves the quarterback's blind side. It gives people the warm and fuzzies to have the best offensive lineman on the team to ensure that the signal-caller is safe.

However, it is fair to wonder what happens to the right tackle position. Redshirt senior Jeremiah Byers started all 14 games at the position. There were times when he struggled with consistency and technique.

The Seminoles were running out of options at right tackle as redshirt senior Robert Scott Jr. dealt with injury concerns. He played in seven games where he made one start. Scott Jr. has started many games in the garnet and gold, but it will be a pivotal fall camp for him as he will look to stay healthy and end his Florida State career with a bang.
