3 players on the Seminoles' roster that I am excited to use in College Football 25
WR MALIK BENSON
Florida State is going to have to replace the likes of wide receivers Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson, who have now signed with NFL teams. There isn't quarterback Jordan Travis in the offense either. However, the Seminoles did add veteran transfer signal-caller DJ Uiagalelei.
Uiagalelei possesses a very strong arm and is not afraid to let the football loose. The Seminoles add four true freshmen to the team in Camdon Frier, BJ Gibson, Lawayne McCoy, and Elijah Moore. It is very difficult to trust those playmakers this early in their respective careers (they are very talented though).
However, one name to monitor is senior Malik Benson. He was acquired this offseason via the transfer portal and looks to be a number-one wide receiver option for the offense. Benson was former with the Alabama Crimson Tide. While he only recorded 162 yards and one touchdown during his one season in Tuscaloosa, he showcased his potential to be something more with his breakaway speed.
The name of the game in college football video games has been the offense. I expect Benson to be the number-one receiver on the depth chart. Disclaimer, I won't be taking it easy on opponents when Uiagalelei is taking shots downfield to Malik Benson streaking wide-open.
