You should've known that I was going to pick signal-caller DJ Uiagalelei.

As expected, the quarterback position is the most vital of the entire team. The coaching staff elected to obtain a veteran bridge option to develop their younger quarterbacks on the roster such as Brock Glenn, Luke Kromenhoek, and Trever Jackson.

Uiagalelei had previous stints with Clemson and Oregon State. During the 2023 season with the Beavers, he completed 180 of his 315 passes for 2,638 yards with 21 touchdowns and only seven interceptions.

I realize that he is not the do-it-all Jordan Travis. However, here is an honest assessment, who is a Jordan Travis clone? The former Louisville transfer was a story that will probably never be re-written due to him progressing past his potential and previous development.

Uiagalelei is a smart quarterback who has played a ton of collegiate football. I want to see how quickly it takes him to soak in Mike Norvell's offensive scheme and become comfortable with his wide receivers on the team.
