DT JOSHUA FARMER (85 OVR)

I am not disappointed in the fact that fellow defensive tackle Darrell Jackson Jr. got an 88 overall rating. However, after not playing in 2023 (minus the Orange Bowl versus Georgia) due to eligibility waiver issues (the NCAA stinks...), I did not think it would be that high.

With that being said, Farmer is rated at an 85 overall. That is a bit confusing because the former three-star prospect played well last season when veteran Fabien Lovett Sr. was dealing with a multitude of injuries. He was disruptive at the point of attack and did his job correctly.

Farmer recorded 32 tackles (seven for loss) and five sacks during the 2023 season. With Braden Fiske, Fabien Lovett Sr., Ayobami Tifase, and Malcolm Ray gone from the rotation, this could be an opportunity for him to build off of the success that he had last season.

Joshua Farmer and Darrell Jackson Jr. will be a scary duo at the defensive tackle position. Defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins will have fun working with them as they were former high school teammates.
