3 impact players for the Florida State versus Clemson matchup

Florida State fans were excited about the dynamic duo of defensive tackles Joshua Farmer and Darrell Jackson Jr. Both Farmer and Jackson Jr. were close friends and high school teammates. However, individuals did not get to see Jackson Jr. last season since the NCAA denied his eligibility waiver due to their two-time transfer rule.

As it stands, Farmer has performed well in the last couple of games for the Seminoles' defense. However, Jackson Jr. has been struggling and the fan base wants to see him emerge in the defense to give Florida State an advantage.

The former Maryland and Miami transfer has recorded 11 total tackles and 0.5 sacks during the 2024 season. I expect the defensive tackle to make a difference as he attempt to disrupt the line of scrimmage as Clemson looks to overpower Florida State.

This game will be all about winning in the trenches. The Seminoles' defensive line needs to stand tall in times of adversity.
