DARION WILLIAMSON

Florida State is having to replace the likes of both Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman, who were the top two pass catchers from a season ago. Wilson and Coleman brought a different dynamic for an offense that relied on big-play ability.

The Seminoles will now have to find replacements in its receiver room. Wide receivers coach Ron Dugans was luckily able to add Alabama transfer Malik Benson and LSU transfer Jalen Brown. While I do believe that Benson has the opportunity to become a number one option, he has not proven it at the collegiate level.

There are a ton of mouths to feed in the offense such as Destyn Hill, Hykeem Williams, Kentron Poitier, and Vandrevius Jacobs. However, one name that does not get talked about enough is Darion Williamson. The former Class of 2020 three-star prospect has dealt with a multitude of injuries.

He has recorded 30 receptions for 383 yards and one touchdown during his four-year playing career with the Seminoles. Willamson was also good for at least one breakout game a season. I believe that he could have a big campaign if he stays healthy.
