CB RENARDO GREEN

Florida State had "Mr. Reliable" on its defense with cornerback Renardo Green. The veteran had been through two coaching staffs and position changes from safety to cornerback. However, he ultimately found the light at the end of the tunnel.

Green was utilized in defensive coordinator Adam Fuller's scheme to lock down the opposing team's number-one wide receiver option. During the 2023 season, he recorded 43 total tackles (2.5 for loss) and one interception.

Just ask LSU's star wide receiver Malik Nabers, he had him in a jail cell when the Seminoles played the Tigers in September for the season opener. Head football coach Mike Norvell emphasizes the fact of responding through adversity when challenging moments arise.

Green has done that and so much more throughout his career with the Seminoles. Even though I don't believe that he will be a highly-rated draft pick, I do think that he has the intangibles to be a long-time contributor in the league at the cornerback position.
