FOUR-STAR IOL PEYTON JOSEPH

This seems like an obvious one as the four-star interior offensive lineman Peyton Joseph recently de-committed from the arch-rival Florida Gators. He then started to receive crystal ball predictions in favor of the Florida State Seminoles.

Joseph has taken a couple of multi-day unofficial visits with the Seminoles' program since backing off his pledge with the Gators. It is also worth noting that current offensive lineman TJ Ferguson is his cousin. That family connection could be meaningful as the Seminoles head into the summer.

It was fair to assess how much offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins was pursuing Joseph as a prospect. They had several prospects on their recruiting board at the offensive line target board. However, the Georgia native is officially visiting the Seminoles on the weekend of June 21st.

It is a bit worrisome that Atkins has not showcased to his recruits that he plays them in the rotation as he has largely relied upon transfer portal pickups. However, with players such as Maurice Smith, Darius Washington, Robert Scott Jr., Richie Leonard IV, and Keiondre Jones graduating after the 2024 season, he will likely have to rely upon some recruits.
