8. WR JALEN BROWN

Florida State added two wide receivers via the transfer portal this offseason in Malik Benson (Alabama) and Jalen Brown (LSU).

You might be wondering why I included Brown at the number eight spot. Well, the season-ending injury of Destyn Hill makes things confusing. Hill was expected to be the starting slot wide receiver with Ja'Khi Douglas. However, this has allowed Jalen Brown to elevate his role in the offense.

Brown was a former four-star prospect in the 2023 class. The Seminoles' coaching staff recruited him heavily in high school. However, the former Gulliver Prep standout chose to sign with LSU. After not recording any statistics with the Tigers last season, Brown decided to enter the transfer portal and sign with Florida State.

If the College Football 25 video game didn't tell you anything by Jalen Brown's 96 speed rating, he is very fast and I believe that he can be a useful weapon in an offense that wants to showcase DJ Uiagalelei's biggest strength, his strong arm.
