9. OT JEREMIAH BYERS

Florida State brought in UTEP offensive tackle transfer Jeremiah Byers last offseason. He was responsible for handling the right tackle position. However, Byers struggled at times with pass protection.

With Robert Scott Jr. still dealing with a variety of injuries, it is vital that Byers stays healthy and gets more consistent. This is a massive year for him as he is heading into his senior season with the Seminoles.

Offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has one of the deeper offensive line rotations that he has had since he arrived in Tallahassee. There are probably ten players that will be contending for starting spots.

If Byers does not get more consistent in his skill set, then other contributors could emerge at the right tackle position. However, I am an individual who thinks that he will have a bounce-back season in 2024.
