Florida State brought in a ton of talent via the transfer portal. Head football coach Mike Norvell declined a job offer to coach the Alabama Crimson Tide. Norvell must have been upset with how the College Football Playoff selection panned out because he was taking talent all over the Crimson Tide's roster.

One player who will be a huge piece for the Seminoles' offensive line unit in 2024 is redshirt junior interior offensive lineman TJ Ferguson. The former four-star prospect was a recruit that offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins recruited heavily before he chose to go to Tuscaloosa.

The Seminoles have to replace Casey Roddick and D'Mitri Emmanuel at the offensive guard spot. While Ferguson appeared in 12 games for the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2023, he only started in one of those.

The talented offensive lineman still needs to be developed. However, I believe that Atkins can tap into his potential as they look to run the football effectively this season.
