6. C MAURICE SMITH

Veteran offensive lineman Maurice Smith continues to be a focal point in the Seminoles' offensive line unit. Smith has continued to put his head down and work. There have been fans who have complained about his weight. However, he has proven the doubters wrong time and time again.

Having a reliable center can be helpful with the flow of the offense. Just ask Alabama last season in the College Football Playoff.

Overall, this is a veteran offensive line group that Alex Atkins has. He has trust in many of the contributors in the group and they could be the foundation of what Florida State needs in order to get a top-twenty five offense in the country.

With Darius Washington moving to left tackle (more on that later), the Seminoles brought in Harvard offensive lineman transfer Jacob Rizy to snap if injuries were to occur at the center position.
