Florida State football had a rough 2024 season where it collected a 2-10 record. This was not the Seminoles' program standard used to compete for a conference and national championship.

However, head football coach Mike Norvell did not feel like some of the coaches on the staff perform to the expectations that were proud in a program that finished with an undefeated regular season and conference championship in 2023.

Florida State fired defensive coordinator Adam Fuller, which made some fans cheer with joy. Individuals used him as a scapegoat for everything that went wrong with the program. While I am not saying that Fuller was an issue, he certainly did not help anything.

As a result, the Seminoles hired Nebraska's defensive coordinator Tony White in the role, who had a top-15 unit with the Cornhuskers last year. White's philosophy this offseason is that the Florida State defense will be physical in 2025. With that take, let's break down some players on the Seminoles' roster that could make the defense physical next season.
