SEASON OPENER HERE WE COME!

Florida State football fans are counting down the days until the Seminoles face off against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, August 30th, in the newly-renovated Doak Campbell Stadium at 3:30 PM EST on ABC.

The fan base wants to put the 2-10 record in the rearview as the program was a laughing stock last season after being snubbed from the College Football Playoff in 2023. However, the Seminoles cannot be like Miami and live in the past.

They have to learn from their mistakes and move forward. Nonetheless, the season opener can make-or-break a team if they are not careful. Head football coach Mike Norvell and the Seminoles brought in several different players to its roster via the transfer portal and recruiting ranks.

This was a similar story as the previous offseason, but will it be different this time around? In this article, I want to highlight some players on the Seminoles' roster who have to play at a high level to beat Alabama.
