FSU FOOTBALL OFFENSE

Florida State football's offense has been hampered by injuries this season, especially when they were without the services of Duce Robinson, Squirrel White, Jayvan Boggs, and Randy Pittman Jr. via injuries in the game against Pittsburgh.

It wasn't the main culprit for its third straight loss, but it certainly didn't help matters either. The Seminoles have to find a recipe for success as they travel to the West Coast to take on the Stanford Cardinal.

Florida State offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn has been a mastermind in allowing the Seminoles' unit to move the football without the important weapons and quarterback Thomas Castellanos not being as mobile.

MICAHI DANZY EMERGENCE

There is a chance that superstar wide receiver Duce Robinson doesn't play against Stanford after suffering an injury in the last game against the Panthers. The former USC transfer has been the Seminoles' leading pass catcher midway through the year.

It seems like Thomas Castellanos is only throwing to Duce Robinson and Micahi Danzy. The duo has a combined 41 receptions (the quarterback has a combined 86 completions, for reference) for 773 yards and five touchdowns.

The former four-star prospect Micahi Danzy is a dual-sport athlete who was known for his blazing speed. Most fans thought that he could probably create a mismatch in a couple of gadget plays to give the Seminoles' offense a spark. However, it looks like Danzy is much more than that.

The Tallahassee native is coming off his best performance of his collegiate career as a receiver, with seven catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns. The switch from running back to wide receiver this past offseason was confusing to some individuals, but it seems like the playmaker is starting to put it together.

Florida State is desperate for a win as it travels to Stanford. As a result, the Seminoles will likely count on Danzy to get his third career 100-yard receiving game.
