FSU FOOTBALL EXCITEMENT

Florida State football defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide by a score of 31-17 on Saturday afternoon. This sent the college football landscape into a frenzy as some of the college football analysts thought that it would be a blowout by Alabama (I am talking about you, Paul Finebaum).

I know that Finebaum is an SEC homer since he works with the conference's network. However, it is outlandish to base the Seminoles on their 2-10 record when they added forty-four new transfers and recruits to the roster this offseason.

Nonetheless, Florida State has to live up to the expectations that everyone has for them now that they defeated the Crimson Tide. I am not suggesting that this team could make it to the College Football Playoff, but it is encouraging that individuals are taking notice of the Seminoles.

FSU COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF PREDICTION

I know that I just said that I don't believe that the Seminoles will make the College Football Playoff, but I don't want to put a cap on this team's potential. However, On3's Andy Staples gave a bold prediction where he predicted the Seminoles to be in the College Football Playoff.

I would 1000% take on a home playoff game in Doak Campbell Stadium versus Utah. It would beat having to travel on the road to play them, and it would generate so much revenue for the university (I can only imagine a hotel price in Tallahassee for that weekend).

I love that people are talking about Florida State, but the Seminoles need to worry about handling business every week.
