FSU football coaches are leaving no stone unturned for its 2025 recruiting class. The Noles signed 20 high school players during the Early Signing Period last month, with 15 early enrollees. However, they continue to seek players who can improve the roster.

They hosted three players for official visits over the weekend, and one was FSU legacy recruit Antonio Cromartie Jr. The oldest son of FSU great and former FSU first-round pick Antonio Cromartie received his official offer on Christmas Day when Mike Norvell gave him a call to deliver the news.

Cromartie Jr. will follow in his father's (and mother's) footsteps when he committed to the Noles on Monday.

He mentioned the staff told him he could play any position in the secondary, from safety to cornerback to nickel. He's listed at 6'1" and 175 pounds and held offers from a few smaller schools but flew mostly under the radar. He doesn't have an official ranking yet, but most sites will likely rate him as a three-star.

He joins former teammate Shane Arnoux, Zae Thomas, and Florida product Max Redmon as the fourth defensive back in the 2025 recruiting class.

FSU signed two strong back-to-back defensive back classes over the last two recruiting cycles, and that is why they will only take three in the 2025 recruiting class. They have not pursued any in the transfer portal, which means they feel comfortable with the talent they have, along with how they feel the defensive front will perform.

Cromartie seems like a great young man who says he wants to earn everything and doesn't want anything given to him. He wants to be pushed to bring the best out of him, and that's the attitude I'm looking for in players.
