THOUGHTS

When I posted this to my social media accounts, some individuals did not like that former Houston cornerback transfer Jeremiah Wilson got the No. 19 jersey number. They did not like the number on the defender and thought that he should have gotten a single-digit number.

I thought that true freshman cornerback Zae Thomas could have been in the running to get the coveted No. 2 jersey number, but I know the school still recognizes former legendary cornerback Deion Sanders (even though he doesn't recognize Florida State as often). With Thomas being the first scholarship Seminole Tribe member, he could be a popular jersey number with 22.

I know that fans are so excited about true freshman running back Ousmane Kromah. Some even suggested that he could've been the starting rusher when the Seminoles opened up versus Alabama, but with the pickup of former Oklahoma transfer Gavin Sawchuk, it doesn't seem likely. Nonetheless, I hope that Kromah has a James Wilder Jr. type of impact early on in his career with wearing 32.

Lastly, I think it is a sweet moment that cornerback Antonio Cromartie Jr. is here at Florida State. His father, Antonio Cromartie, was a great player with the Seminoles. He wore No. 13 with the program, but his son will wear No. 33. Given the legacy, I believe that it could be a top seller.
