It would be great to see this former Seminole for the FSU-Miami game

FSU FOOTBALL

Florida State football will be taking on the Virginia Cavaliers this Friday at 7 PM EST. The Seminoles will have to play their A game on the road. Head football coach Tony Elliott and the Cavaliers will look to brew up an upset over the Seminoles.

Fans across the college football landscape saw how the Seminoles played aggressively against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the season opener. However, that result is finished, and the program has to move on to the next one.

We already expressed concerns about quarterback Chandler Morris and the fact that the starting center could be out against the Seminoles.

MIAMI VS FSU

We know that the Seminoles play Virginia soon, but some individuals cannot help themselves from discussing the Miami rivalry game. The Hurricanes have a bye week, so there isn't a chance for them to take a loss. As a result, all eyes are on Florida State this week.

According to a report from Jim Henry with the Tallahassee Democrat, former Florida State great Lee Corso will be honored and plans to attend the Seminoles' matchup against Miami on Saturday, October 4th.

This implies that College GameDay will most likely be heading to Tallahassee, which is all-important that the Seminoles win over Virginia to ensure that the game doesn't lose its luster as a possible top-ten matchup.

The College GameDay made a huge mistake by making Lee Corso's send-off be with the Ohio State-Texas game. Understandably, they were selling the narrative of it being Corso's first headgear selection, but Florida State is home to him and his family. It also didn't help that the Seminoles went 2-10 last year, either.

However, it looks like all is good in the world, where Corso can fly off into the sunset the right way.
