FSU FOOTBALL
Florida State football defeats the Alabama Crimson Tide in Doak Campbell Stadium by a score of 31-17. While it might have been a stunner to some (except for ChopChat's own Nick Andre and ESPN personality Lee Corso), the Seminoles' team seems to believe in themselves.
I know that media members were upset when Florida State's coaching staff elected to cut down access to practice. However, it all seems to make sense now, as the program wanted to put their head down and work for everything that they achieved.
BIGGEST HATERS
People have to tip their hats to Florida State football. Many analysts doubted head football coach Mike Norvell and the Seminoles. There were even fans who started calling for his job after the 2-10 season last year. While I don't believe that is acceptable at Florida State, I know that Coach Norvell deserves another chance to prove that it was an outlier.
Even though it was the offseason, two of Florida State's biggest haters (Paul Finebaum and Greg McElroy) have been hating on the Seminoles after their College Football Playoff snub to the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2023.
They have taken every opportunity to mock and kick the program while they are down. It makes sense as McElroy is a former quarterback with the Crimson Tide and Finebaum works for the SEC Network, which is a conference that Alabama is in.
However, after the Seminoles' massive 31-17 victory on Saturday night versus Alabama, it has been crickets from McElroy and Finebaum on social media. I thought that we would see a congratulations from one of the two.
