This injury report for the Seminoles is worrisome.

FSU FOOTBALL

The Florida State Seminoles take on the Pittsburgh Panthers this Saturday at noon in Doak Campbell Stadium on ESPN. The stadium won't be packed out like it was against Miami last weekend, but there still will be a large portion of the fan base that will be there.

It is a pivotal game for head football coach Mike Norvell and his squad. The season-opening victory against Alabama on August 30th is now over a month in the rearview mirror, and it is time to move on and focus on the present.

This hasn't looked like the same Seminoles team as it suffered two straight losses to Virginia and Miami. While the Cavaliers and Hurricanes are good squads, it is disappointing to see Florida State have glaring flaws.

INJURY REPORT

This has been a grind to go through a roller coaster Friday night game on the road against Virginia, then pour all of your emotions into the rivalry contest versus Miami.

The nation might view Florida State differently, but the fact of the matter is that they are still ranked No. 25 in the most recent AP Poll. This isn't exactly where I thought the Seminoles would be, but this is a good sign to see individuals respect the program.

Florida State is required by the conference to drop its injury report for the matchup against the Panthers.

The concerning aspect is that the offense could be without wide receivers Squirrel White and Jayvan Boggs, tight end Randy Pittman Jr., and offensive tackle Micah Pettus. The major issue was that the Seminoles put starting offensive guard Adrian Medley at tackle, which was a red flag that allowed many pressures.

Hopefully, the former Ole Miss transfer can play, but if not, I hope that it can be veteran Jacob Rizy or an up-and-comer, Lucas Simmons/Jonathan Daniels.
