Florida State football will be taking on the arch-rival Florida Gators in the Swamp on Saturday afternoon at 4:30 PM EST on ESPN2. The Seminoles will be trying to get to bowl eligibility for the third time in six years under head football coach Mike Norvell.
Florida State announced that Mike Norvell will be retained for a seventh season, which upset some of the fan base, but the Seminoles have to block out the noise and focus on what matters the most with winning the football game.
They have not won a road game since the 2023 meeting with Florida after back up quarterback Tate Rodemaker had to make the start with superstar signal-caller Jordan Travis out for the remainder of the year with an injury.
That is unfortunately how long it has been. The Seminoles are not 11-0 heading into the game like they were during that season. However, it is vital that Florida State builds momentum for next year.
