FSU FOOTBALL 2025 SEASON

Florida State football fans are anxiously awaiting the 2025 season after having to suffer through the disaster last year. The Seminole faithful hope that it won't even sniff the similarities of the 2-10 campaign, as fans were dreading every game last year. Hopefully, there are no similarities of the 2-10 campaign,

The program welcomes a multitude of new talent through the recruiting ranks and transfer portal, as well as a revamped coaching staff that aims to restore Florida State's respectability.

We are in July, so the record predictions are starting to fly as the Seminoles will prepare to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday, August 30th at 3:30 PM EST on ABC.

THOUGHTS

Let me start by saying that a 7-5 record should never be the standard here at Florida State. This is a proud program that should be expected to compete for conference and national championships. With that said, this was a squad that won two games and consisted of many new players and coaches.

As I look at his predictions, they look reasonable, even though I wouldn't suggest those particular losses. It would be discouraging to have a 3-3 record after six games, but it helps to finish the back-half of the schedule with games that the Seminoles should win.

I am not here to tell you what head football coach Mike Norvell has to win to keep his job, but I think the Seminoles should be solid in 2025. Overall, I like the construction of the squad.
